Your New Company: We are working with a pioneer in the Alternative Legal Service Provider (ALSP) market, leading the next evolution in legal services through AI-integrated contracting. We are searching for a Contracts Specialist to join our team as a Senior Legal Associate (Contract Management) in Belfast. Our client is the market leader in Integrated Law, combining Traditional Law, New Law, and in-house legal expertise to deliver complex legal work at scale. They collaborate with corporate legal departments to address the increasing demands and complexity of transactional legal work. Their approach combines specialist expertise, AI-powered solutions, and business process knowledge to improve performance, legal outcomes, and the contracting experience. Their clients include Fortune 500 companies, global banks, pharmaceutical companies, and large technology firms, with a team of over 300 lawyers, legal specialists, technologists, and process consultants across Europe and North America.

Your Role: As the Senior Legal Associate (Contract Management), you will support clients' businesses by drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts, providing general support to the contracts management and in-house legal teams. The role requires a team player who can collaborate with technical and non-technical audiences, bringing a result-driven, focused, energetic, confident, curious, and fun attitude.

Responsibilities:

  1. Draft and negotiate various Commercial Contracts.
  2. Work closely with clients’ in-house legal teams on matters such as international deals, bids, procurement, marketing, professional services, media, technology, or consumer issues.
  3. Contribute to the delivery of services and ensure compliance with commitments.
  4. Manage caseload actively.
  5. Adhere to delivery processes and update data in company and client systems.
  6. Develop contract templates, playbooks, and tools for the team.
  7. Participate in continuous service improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Law Degree and/or Legal Qualification.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the role's country.
  • At least 4 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably within a law firm, ALSP, or in-house legal team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Client-facing experience.
  • Good commercial awareness and knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word.
  • Alignment with company core values: Authenticity, Accountability, Adaptability, Stewardship.

Desirable:

  • Experience with telecommunications, financial services, or professional services firms.
  • In-house legal experience.
