Your New Company: We are working with a pioneer in the Alternative Legal Service Provider (ALSP) market, leading the next evolution in legal services through AI-integrated contracting. They are seeking a Contracts Specialist to join as a Senior Legal Associate (Contract Management) in Liverpool. Our client is a market leader in Integrated Law, combining Traditional Law, New Law, and In-house legal expertise to deliver complex legal work at scale. They collaborate with corporate legal departments to address increasing demands and complexity of transactional legal work. Their approach combines specialist expertise, AI-powered solutions, and business process knowledge to improve performance and legal outcomes. Their clients include Fortune 500 companies across banking, pharmaceuticals, and technology sectors, with a team of over 300 professionals across Europe and North America.

Your Role: As a Senior Legal Associate (Contract Management), you will support clients by drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts, providing general support to the contracts management and in-house legal teams. You should be a team player, capable of collaborating with technical and non-technical audiences, and possess a result-driven, energetic, confident, curious, and engaging personality.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Working with in-house legal teams on various matters such as international deals, procurement, and media.
  • Managing caseloads and ensuring compliance with delivery processes.
  • Updating and managing data in company and client systems.
  • Developing contract templates and tools for the team.
  • Contributing to service improvement and value addition.

Requirements:

  • Law Degree or legal qualification.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • At least 4 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Client-facing experience and commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word.
  • Alignment with company values: Authenticity, Accountability, Adaptability, Stewardship.

Desirable:

  • Experience in telecommunications, financial services, or professional services.
  • In-house legal experience.
