We are working with a pioneer in the Alternative Legal Service Provider (ALSP) market, leading the next evolution in legal services through AI-integrated contracting. They are seeking a contracts specialist to join their team as a Senior Legal Associate (Contract Management) in Coventry. They collaborate with corporate legal departments to address the increasing demands and complexity of transactional legal work. Your New Role

As the Senior Legal Associate (Contract Management), you will support clients by drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts, providing general support to the contracts management and in-house legal teams. The role requires a team player with strong communication skills, a result-driven attitude, high energy, confidence, curiosity, and a positive, fun personality.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting and negotiating various Commercial Contracts.
  • Collaborating with clients’ in-house legal teams on international deals, bids, procurement, marketing, professional services, media, technology, or consumer matters.
  • Managing active caseloads and ensuring compliance with delivery commitments.
  • Maintaining and updating data on company and client systems.
  • Developing contract templates, playbooks, and tools for the team.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of services and adding value.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Legal Degree and/or qualified lawyer.
  • Legally eligible to work in the UK.
  • At least 4 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably within a law firm, ALSP, or in-house legal team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working directly with clients.
  • Good commercial awareness and knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word.
  • Alignment with company values: Authenticity, Accountability, Adaptability, Stewardship.

Desirable

  • Experience in telecommunications, financial services, or professional services sectors.
  • In-house legal experience.
