Senior Legal Assistant - Housing Law

Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Legal Assistant with housing law experience to join our local authority client on a long term locum basis.

Covering a 12 month maternity leave, this role will be to start Mid May.

Duties will include:

• Housing disrepair: defending claims, assessing liability, causation and level of compensation
• Possession and injunctions work: drafting NOSP's particulars of claims and drafting orders
• Advice on homelessness matters: reviews and appeals
• Advocacy: in the County Court (optional)

Minimum Requirements:

Previous experience within housing law is required; however, some training in less familiar areas may be provided.

The client is open to both hybrid and fully remote working.
