The School of Engineering and Built Environment within the Faculty of Health, Innovation, Technology and Science seeks to appoint a Senior Lecturer or Senior Teaching Fellow in Architectural Technology (with Housing Focus).
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to studio-based, digital, and housing-related teaching within Architectural Technology, alongside supporting the development of new Housing programmes at LJMU. You will join a supportive and ambitious Property and Built Environment team with expertise spanning Architectural Technology, Building Surveying, and Real Estate.
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in housing, regeneration, sustainable development, digital innovation, or interdisciplinary design practice. The successful candidate will play a central role in design studio teaching, curriculum development, and research or scholarship, while helping shape the next generation of digitally literate, housing-aware graduates.
The ideal candidate will hold (or be close to completing) a PhD or have equivalent professional experience and be able to demonstrate a record of high-quality teaching and/or scholarship. Professional body membership (e.g. CIAT, RICS, RIBA, CIOB) is desirable.
