Job summary

The University of Glasgow invites applications for a Senior Lecturer (Research & Teaching) in Media Policy or Media Management within the Cultural Industries subject area of the School of Culture & Creative Arts.

The appointee will lead teaching, research and industry engagement, and contribute to knowledge exchange, with responsibilities spanning postgraduate and undergraduate teaching, research leadership, and management within the subject area.

Qualifications

• PhD level qualification with extensive research and teaching experience.
• Expertise in teaching/research on MSc Media Management related topics.
• Track record in leadership and management at School/College level.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of international standard research projects.
• Act as principal investigator on major research projects with high impact.
• Lead major funding bids and Knowledge Exchange activities.
• Provide academic leadership and course/programme administration across research/teaching teams.
• Engage external stakeholders to advance knowledge exchange and public understanding.
