The standard TSPP academic role at the University includes a combination of teaching, scholarly activity, professional practice, knowledge exchange, business engagement and associated administrative activities. You should have significant experience of primary teaching across EYFS, and the 5 -11 age ranges, and of teaching pupils of all ability levels as well as pupils with additional learning needs. You will be an excellent primary school practitioner with a track record of securing good pupil outcomes, and of mentoring and coaching trainees or early career teachers. You will utilise your knowledge to contribute to teaching, curriculum design, knowledge exchange, enterprise, and business engagement. Applicants must hold or willing to achieve a relevant Teaching Qualification normally within two years of employment i.e. PGCHE/Higher Education Academy (Associate Fellow/Senior Fellow) accreditation.

If you are shortlisted, your interview will take place online, via Microsoft Teams.

The interview will take place on 3 September 2025.
