Vertus Residential Management Limited is seeking a Senior Leasing Consultant to join the Leasing Team at Canary Wharf. You will ensure residents have the best rental experience and deliver outstanding customer service, acting as a Vertus brand ambassador.

Reporting to the Leasing Manager, you will qualify leads, conduct viewings, negotiate offers, and coordinate with the Tenancy Progression team while maintaining GDPR compliance and KPI targets.

Qualifications

  • Respond to website, email, and telephone enquiries promptly.
  • Qualify leads and check Right to Rent.

JOB SUMMARY

Vertus are looking to recruit a Senior Leasing Consultant to join our Leasing Team. Reporting directly to the Leasing Manager, you will ensure that residents (tenants) have the best rental experience and consistently deliver the highest levels of customer service, becoming a Vertus brand ambassador.

SALARY AND CLOSING DATE

Salary: £31,065 + Commission structure

Closing date: 28th September 2026

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responding to website, email, and telephone enquiries in a timely manner
  • Qualifying leads, ensuring the applicant has the Right to Rent
  • Capturing source of enquiries
  • Keeping the CRM up to date with relevant information
  • Matching prospective residents to available properties
  • Ensuring apartments are well presented before viewing
  • Booking viewings
  • Conducting call outs
  • Conducting viewings
  • Obtaining feedback
  • Negotiating offers
  • Advising prospective residents of customer Journey and requirements
  • Passing applicants over to the Tenancy Progression team with full information
  • Assisting with progress of tenancy progression where necessary
  • Conducting Right to Rent on prospective residents
  • Complying with GDPR requirements
  • Attending events such as Mall Pop Ups
  • Ensuring KPI's are consistently met
  • Liaising with Third Party agents on the unit availability and portal material
  • Reporting weekly KPI's to the Leasing manager
  • Reporting team KPI's, weekly and monthly to the Leasing Manager
  • Weekly team audit of Hubspot (Status change for successful deals, Offer received status to current resident)
  • To carry out other reasonable duties as instructed and directed as required
PERSON SPECIFICATION
  • Level 3 ARLA qualification is desirable
  • 2 years property experience
  • Friendly telephone manner
  • Proven track record of meeting KPI's
  • An understanding of the Build to Rent market
