West Exe School in Devon is seeking a Senior Learning Support Assistant to support students with SEMH and ADHD. You will work alongside teachers and the SEND team, delivering targeted interventions and building trusting relationships to help vulnerable learners regulate, engage and achieve their potential.

You will collaborate with families and external professionals, plan activities in the classroom and lead on the Social, Emotional and Mental Health area of need.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and ADHD.
• Experience collaborating with teachers, SEND team, families and external professionals.

Responsabilités

• Work alongside children in the classroom, plan and deliver interventions for SEMH/ADHD needs.
• Lead on the area of Social, Emotional and Mental Health and build trusting relationships.
• Collaborate with families and external professionals to support learning and wellbeing.
