Job summary

Manchester City Council's Manchester Secondary PRU is looking to appoint a committed Senior Learning Mentor to support pupils aged 11-16 across multiple Manchester sites. The role focuses on assisting in classrooms, addressing additional needs, and helping students overcome barriers to learning.

The post requires 5 GCSEs including English and Maths, a driving licence, and flexibility to work across the city. The role is permanent, term time only (39 weeks) with 8:45–3:45 hours. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 GCSEs (English and Maths) or equivalent.
• Driving licence is required.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Flexible to work across Manchester sites.
