Job summary

Manchester Secondary PRU is seeking a committed Learning Mentor to join our centres across the city. You will support pupils in a variety of situations and deliver targeted learning interventions.

The post is full-time, with 8.45 to 3.45 working hours, salary £22,711 - £24,752 per annum. Start date 2 November 2026, reporting to the headteacher and SLT to drive excellence in our provision.

Qualifications

  • GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and mathematics.
  • DBS checks required and safeguarding commitment.
  • Ability to work with pupils with diverse needs.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for pupils in a variety of situations.
  • Deliver targeted learning interventions.
  • Support interventions at universal, targeted and individual levels.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents and agencies to achieve best outcomes.
