Job summary

The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland is seeking an experienced senior learning and Discovery professional to shape and deliver the Discovery and Learning programme at Highland Wildlife Park. You will connect schools, communities and volunteers with wildlife and conservation, and lead a small, passionate team to create world-class learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering community programmes.
• Proven ability to lead a small team.
• Strong collaboration with schools and education bodies.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for audiences and stakeholders in park community and learning programmes.
• Develop and deliver the activity and evaluation plan for Discovery, community and Learning programmes.
• Line manage the Discovery and Learning Officers and rangers at Highland Wildlife Park.
• Collaborate with Education bodies to ensure school delivery meets curriculum needs.
• Create accessible, inclusive, and representational programmes.
