Calman College within the Kisimul Group is recruiting a Senior Learning Assistant to support autistic young people with complex needs in an integrated educational setting. The role involves coordinating remote learning and advising tutors and leaders on learner progress, with travel required and expenses reimbursed.

Based in our Adult service in Retford, the position offers professional development, DBS checks, and a clear path for career progression within a specialist education group.

Qualifications

• Ideally a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with supporting autistic learners is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate remote learning programmes and provide advice to tutors and college leaders.
• Design and deliver programmes for learners with complex needs.
• Mentor and support new staff, manage non-teaching duties and documentation.
