TetraScience, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead Scientific Data Engineers across multiple squads, driving both technical excellence and organizational effectiveness. The role demands strategic thinking, hands-on problem solving, and a passion for building scalable, reliable data systems.

You will mentor leaders, manage performance, and shape engineering culture as teams scale. Expect collaboration with Product, Design, and executive leadership to deliver high-impact products

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of work experience, including 5+ years leading through managers.
• Proven track record building and maturing engineering processes and SDLC.
• Strong architecture and design decision experience across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multiple SDE squads, driving technical and organizational excellence.
• Set roadmaps, align with Product and design, and translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Own budgeting, headcount planning, and resource allocation for the org.
