Randstad NV partners with a respected specialist SEN school in Cambridge to recruit an outstanding Assistant Headteacher (Pastoral) / SENCO on a full-time, permanent basis, with a salary up to £46,000 per annum depending on experience.

The role combines strategic pastoral leadership with expert SEN coordination, overseeing safeguarding, EHCP processes, and pupil wellbeing for children with ASC and SEMH needs.

Formación

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
• Experience in middle or senior leadership roles within SEN settings.
• Strong knowledge of SEN Code of Practice and EHCP processes.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams with empathy and authority.

Responsabilidades

• Lead pastoral strategy and safeguarding across the school.
• Oversee SEN provision, EHCP management, and annual reviews.
• Collaborate with external agencies and DSL for safeguarding.
• Coach staff and deliver CPD on de-escalation and SEN teaching.
