Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in London seeks a Senior Lead Software Engineer - Front-End Engineer to drive the design and delivery of cloud-native mobile/web experiences.

You will own end-to-end development, shaping architecture and SDLC practices while mentoring peers across the engineering team. You'll work with React, React Native, Expo, TypeScript/JavaScript, and modern testing tools to build scalable solutions for the Chase UK platform, delivering robust features with a strong emphasis on UI/UX

Qualifications

• Proficiency in React framework.
• Building applications using React Native / Expo in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of React Native architecture.
• Understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Ability to write testable, clean JavaScript code.
• Comfortable working with projects partially or fully using TypeScript.
• Using latest React features such as Suspense and Hooks.
• End to end testing applications with WebdriverIO / Playwright.
• Extensive experience in modern mobile development.
• Hands-on experience with design systems, component libraries, and implementing consistent UI/UX across large-scale applications.

• Ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment within a geographically distributed team
• Ability to focus on promptly addressing customer needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
