Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing and stability.
• Advanced proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience leading an agile delivery team with scrum, sprint planning and reporting.
• Front office experience in financial services (preferred).
• Knowledge of Java, Python, TypeScript, and React (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and deliver trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way.
• Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshoot beyond routine approaches.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review code written by others.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Lead communities of practice to drive adoption of new technologies.
• Act as a front office developer within the QES technology team.
• Collaborate closely with front office teams, including trading and structuring, to support the QES platform.
• Develop platform and visualization components required by the desk.
