As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding banking experience. You will work in a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive environment with a geographically distributed team. Job Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and improve AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure 24/7 operation with a focus on stability, performance, security, and compliance.
  2. Design and enhance infrastructure technologies and processes, including EKS/Istio deployment and AWS account management.
  3. Develop and support a cloud platform for application developers to improve their SDLC and developer experience.
  4. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to plan improvements and manage projects.
  5. Participate in on-call rotations.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  1. Formal training or certification in software engineering, with advanced experience.
  2. Experience developing and maintaining applications in AWS.
  3. Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code, preferably Terraform.
  4. Knowledge of Kubernetes operations, particularly EKS.
  5. Programming skills in Java, Python, or Go.
  6. Experience with CI/CD pipelines covering the full SDLC.
  7. Strong understanding of DevOps principles and SDLC best practices.
  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  1. Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
  2. Familiarity with data streaming technologies like Kafka.
  3. Experience with modern databases such as PostgreSQL and CockroachDB.
  4. Experience developing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
