Senior /Lead Software Engineer - SaaS AI Cloud-Native

Birmingham HQ - Hybrid (1+ day/week in office)

I am working with a truly innovative business who are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team in Birmingham. This role is a chance to own the technical delivery of their SaaS platform, while staying close to the code and mentoring others through hands-on leadership.

What you\'ll be doing:

• Build & Optimise: Develop high-performance APIs and responsive web apps using modern frameworks.
• Mobile Integration: Help bring key features to life in mobile apps (React Native).
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product, UX/UI, and backend engineers to deliver seamless experiences.
• Monitor & Improve: Debug, troubleshoot, and optimise for speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Innovate: Explore emerging tech (including AI) and integrate customer feedback to evolve our quoting process.

Tech you\'ll be working with:

• Frontend: Next.js, React (Native), Typescript
• Backend: PostgreSQL, Vercel
• DevOps: CI/CD, Kubernetes, GitHub
• AI/LLM: Integrating intelligent tooling to enhance automation and UX
