Job description

Job Description

We’re passionate about using technology to drive sustainable solutions for our clients and society. You too? Join us as a Senior Lead Product Owner (Digital Workplace) at Ramboll Tech and help us become the leading tech-enabled Partner for Sustainable Change.

Are you driven by making your colleagues’ days more efficient and enjoyable through brilliant technology solutions? We are looking for a bright mind to shape and deliver our Digital Workplace for over 18000 architecture, engineering and consultancy experts.

Our Digital Workplace is a core part of the digital journey for our employees at Ramboll — from onboarding, upskilling, collaborating and everyday productivity – the Senior Lead Product Owner, Digital Workplace, is accountable for delivering a cohesive, people-first digital workplace that enables employees across the full business to communicate, collaborate, and be more productive.

This new role owns the strategy, development, and continuous improvement of our digital workplace products —including Microsoft 365, employee portals, communication, collaboration and knowledge management — ensuring they are cohesive, scalable, and aligned with our brand, enterprise architecture, and data strategies.

By combining strong stakeholder engagement, strategic thinking, and a clear vision for the future of work, the Senior Lead Product Owner, Digital Workplace will play a key role in tech-enabling Ramboll’s “bright minds” all over the world.

This role will join the leadership team in the newly formed Digital Employee Journey division in Ramboll Tech, which brings together product design, user experience, digital adoption, digital workplace and employee support capabilities. Our mission is to deliver an efficient and enjoyable digital employee experience for Ramboll’s 18000 colleagues.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end Digital Workplace product lifecycle accountability
This new role is accountable for the strategy, development, and continuous data-driven improvement of our digital workplace products —including Microsoft 365, employee portals, communication, collaboration and knowledge management.

  • Lead a product team to shape and deliver the Digital Workplace product, drawing on competencies within Ramboll Tech and the Ramboll organization as set out in your roadmap.

  • Product alignment
Engage with Product Owners across the business to align needs, remove duplication, and maintain a unified digital workplace across Ramboll.

  • Knowledge management
Lead knowledge management strategy and execution for the digital workplace, ensuring content is well-structured, easily discoverable, user-centric and supports both employee needs and AI-readiness. You will do this in collaboration with the Digital Employee Support lead and other key stakeholders in the business.

  • Employee communication and adoption
Accountable for continuous adoption of existing and new features in the digital workplace products and clear communication to employees on updates or changes.

  • Governance and compliance with standards
Ensure the digital workplace setup follows Ramboll’s standards for data, tools, brand, compliance and architecture.

You will help shape this role and we value your ideas on how to make it a success.

HOW YOU WILL SUCCEED IN YOUR ROLE

Professional experience

  • 7+ years of experience working in digital workplace, IT strategy, or employee experience roles, preferably in a global or matrixed organization.
  • Proven track record of owning or managing digital workplace platforms that enable communication, collaboration, and productivity across diverse business areas and at scale.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management, working across business units, functions, and geographies to align on digital needs and priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead global knowledge management initiatives, including content structuring, governance, and self-service enablement.
  • Experience with change management curve and driving adoption of new tools and ways of working through structured communication.
  • Familiarity with governance, compliance, and data management principles in a digital workplace context.
  • Gathering data to report on digital workplace impact.

Technical Experience

  • Must have hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Viva) and how these tools are used to support digital workplaces.
  • Experience with other communications, collaboration and productivity tools (e.g. Miro, Templafy, etc.) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of digital workplaces, employee portals, intranet platforms, digital communication tools, and workplace analytics.
  • Understanding of knowledge architecture, metadata, tagging, and content lifecycle management.
  • Basic familiarity with AI and automation trends in the context of knowledge delivery and workplace productivity (e.g., Copilot etc.).

Other requirements

  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You are empathetic and maintain composure when dealing with many stakeholders and various expectations
  • You enjoy teamwork and support colleagues to learn through knowledge sharing
  • You are fluent in English and ideally also in the local language of your office

We encourage you to apply even if your profile does not meet all the requirements for the role. We are looking for a diverse range of experiences, skills, and interests to enrich our team.

WHAT DEFINES US: CURIOSITY, OPTIMISM, AMBITION, EMPATHY

Our team at Ramboll Tech is currently on a steep growth trajectory while maintaining a strong team culture and delivering solutions to our colleagues and clients.

  • We are ambitious, setting our own standards higher than others’ expectations, and we celebrate each other's successes.
  • We are empathetic, taking ourselves, others, and each other seriously without prejudgment, and we help each other and our clients, colleagues, and the world.

HOW WE WORK AS A TEAM

Our team culture is crucial to us; that's why we take time daily to exchange ideas and discuss our work priorities. We support each other when facing challenges and foster a strong team spirit. We aim to learn and grow continuously from one another. We value diversity, and although we're not perfect, we regularly engage in open discussions about how we can improve in this area.
