What can you expect in a Senior Lead, Business Development role with TaskUs:

As our Senior Lead, Business Development in Germany, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives, developing new business opportunities, and establishing strong relationships with potential clients.

You will participate in planning, implementation of strategies and guiding long-term objectives to achieve department/ sales goals.

You will also participate in sales and marketing efforts through lead generation initiatives, data clean up and management, administration, and support of salesforce.com.

This role requires a highly motivated visionary leader with a proven track record of successful business development, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities:

-Strategic Planning and Execution:

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve company growth objectives.

Identify and prioritize target markets, industries, and potential clients for BPO services.

Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.

-Business Development:

Identify, prospect, and engage with potential clients to generate new business opportunities.

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and industry events.

Lead the end-to-end sales process, including proposal development, negotiations, and contract finalization.

-Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within target organizations.

Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet client needs and drive value.

-Performance Metrics and Reporting:

Set and track performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business development activities.

Prepare regular reports on sales pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts for senior management.

Utilize CRM tools to manage and analyze customer interactions and data.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • 5 - 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles. Experience within the BPO industry is a plus.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, securing profitable new business and driving revenue growth.

  • Experience in the retail and e-commerce sectors, with a solid understanding of their unique business needs and challenges.

  • Strong understanding of BPO services, industry trends, and market dynamics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Agile, self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Work Location / Travel:

  • Remote

  • Travel up to 40% to include international travel
