Senior/Lead Business Analyst (London Markets Insurance)

We are looking for a client-focused Business Analyst who can evidence a proven record in delivering software development solutions & business process transformation to Insurance clients with a particular focus on London Markets experience.

As part of our EMEA BA & Product Management Practice and working collaboratively with our highly skilled and experienced engineering teams & domain experts, you will play a vital role in shaping innovative solutions and helping us grow our business within the FS&I domain.

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week expected in the London office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, Business Analyst, Product Owner or Consultant on client assignments, understanding the clients business needs and translating them into requirements for development team.
• Communicating with stakeholders, including clients and senior management, to gather requirements and provide updates & suggestions.
• Provide thought leadership in Business Analysis practices to help Account and Delivery Managers grow EPAM's profile with new and existing clients.
• Provide business process transformation expertise to the clients to help them understand their current state and create an efficient target process considering client personas and constraints.
• Help clients understand the best mix of technologies, solutions & services and how to deliver them to maximise business value.
• Support pre-sales discovery and analysis to help EPAM bring amazing products and services to our clients.

Requirements

• Have a previous delivery experience on London Markets Insurance projects, specifically working with underwriters.
• Have experience of business process mapping and transformation initiatives and be able to demonstrate the achievement of measurable benefits.
• Be able to support the development of business cases that clearly articulate the link to business strategy and business benefits.
• Have end-to-end delivery experience of at least 5 software delivery projects.
• Possess a strong Agile mindset and be familiar with other development methodologies.
• Be able to shape opportunities and projects, understanding high-level business needs, the impact of technology, and transition into project delivery.
• Have experience of supporting sales environments and business development, which also includes the ability to sell ideas internally.
