Job Description

As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate and Investment Bank, you are an integral part of a team that develops high-quality architecture solutions for our new client relationship management platform. You drive significant business impact and help shape the target state architecture through your capabilities in multiple architecture domains.

Job responsibilities
  1. Work with product and engineering teams to understand existing solutions & use cases and map out a strategic target architecture
  2. Provide feedback and propose improvements to architecture governance practices
  3. Guide evaluation of current technology and lead evaluation of new technologies
  4. Regularly provide technical guidance and support to product and engineering teams
  5. Drive decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
  6. Influence peers and project decision-makers to follow architectural best practices
  7. Add to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  1. Formal training or certification in system design concepts and proficient experience delivering systems from design through development, testing, and operational stability
  2. Experience in one or more object-oriented or functional programming languages
  3. Advanced knowledge of software architecture with in-depth expertise in data modelling, API design, scalable data platform design, and experience with semantic modelling to drive data insights and AI/ML
  4. Ability to independently tackle design and functionality problems with minimal oversight
  5. Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend optimal solutions for future architecture
  6. Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  1. Practical cloud-native experience
  2. Practical application of semantic web technologies (rdf, ttl, shacl)
