Job summary

Hull City Council in the United Kingdom is recruiting an Alternative Provision Lead. You will provide leadership across a network of AP providers, oversee KPI delivery, and champion a coordinated, child-centred approach to reduce exclusions and enable more children to remain in mainstream education where possible.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Alternative Provision contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and statutory requirements.
• Lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of alternative provision standards and inclusive practice.
• Coordinate audits and oversee reintegration into mainstream education with measurable targets.
• Collaborate with schools, academy trusts, SEND services and partners to secure positive outcomes for vulnerable children.
• Oversee and develop the AP network, supporting transitions between provisions and post-16 settings.
