Your Experience

This highly ranked L500 department is seeking a 5+ years PQE Data, Digital and Commercial Lawyer who can lead on complex data, digital and commercial matters and contribute to the development of the overall team.

You will have experience in:

• Leading on complex commercial and technology projects, advising on GDPR compliance, international data transfers, PECR, cybersecurity, AI governance and smart data initiatives.
• Drafting and negotiating on data sharing agreements, data processing clauses and other commercial contracts (both customer and supplier-side).
• Being the primary point of contact for key clients, managing relationships and delivering practical, commercial advice.
• Handling regulatory issues and supporting incident response teams, including dealing with regulatory investigations.
• Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers, ensuring high-quality, consistent work output across the team.
• Working with cross-functional teams (including employment, disputes, legal tech) to offer comprehensive client support.
• Contributing to business development, thought leadership and client engagement activities to build the firm's presence in the data and technology space.
