Division Description:
The Legal Team is split between our London and New York offices and is responsible for managing legal risk across the Insight enterprise.

Position Description:
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Managing Lawyer in the Corporate and Commercial Legal Team, the Senior Lawyer will provide legal support across Insight Investment’s global investment management business, including to the Client Solutions Group, Distribution team, Marketing, Vendor Management, IT, and the Corporate and Information Risk teams.

The role is suitable for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple issues, and works with minimal supervision.

Role Responsibilities:
• Draft and negotiate investment management and advisory agreements, broker terms, and other related agreements
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers
• Liaise with external counsel on various legal matters
• Handle reporting and monitoring, including monthly and annual legal team management reports
• Advise on data protection, trademark, and intellectual property issues
• Negotiate outsourcing, supplier, and infrastructure contracts
• Support ad-hoc legal projects and queries from the business
