Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Conveyancing Solicitor to build and lead a new Residential Conveyancing Team in Swindon, complementing the firm’s successful conveyancing teams in Newbury, Thatcham, and Maidenhead. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years’ PQE and a strong track record in managing complex residential property matters, alongside proven business development capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
  2. Drive the growth of the firm’s residential property practice in the Swindon area through business development and networking.
  3. Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear and tailored legal advice throughout the conveyancing process.
  4. Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver a seamless client experience.
  5. Support, mentor, and supervise junior team members as the department grows.

Requirements:

Essential:

  1. Minimum 8 years’ PQE in residential conveyancing, handling a broad range of transactions.
  2. Strong business development skills with the ability to generate new business and develop a pipeline of work.
  3. A self-starter with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
