Greenwich Legal Services is committed to being a high performing in-house legal service which plays an essential part in the achievement of the Royal Borough's priorities and objectives for the benefit of our community.

You will join us at an exciting time as the Royal Borough continues with its ongoing ambitious regeneration programme.

We are seeking a Senior Adults Lawyer to join our busy Adults, Education and Employment team, dealing with a varied caseload and providing legal advice, support, and representation to the council's Directorate. We are looking to recruit a keen, talented, and committed individual to this role.

The role will include managing an extensive caseload of complex legal work in the area of Adult Social Care, working as a Senior member of the team, providing high-level services to elected members, senior managers, staff, and external clients.

The successful candidate must be a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive or equivalent, and able to demonstrate experience of all aspects of the law relating to Safeguarding Adults, including but not limited to the Care Act 2014 and Mental Health Act 1983.
