Hybrid role with 3 days a week in our Central London office

About us

Seccl is the Octopus-owned embedded investment platform that's on a mission to helping more people to invest - and invest well.

We're B-Corp certified with an amazing product-market fit, impressive early traction and the potential to transform an outdated industry, for the better. We've been growing fast and will scale even faster over the next few years.

We're also proud to be part of Octopus, the £multi billion group that's on a mission to breathe new life into broken industries, through companies like Octopus Energy, Octopus Investments and Octopus Money.

Check out the Seccl website for the latest on our products and our mission to shape the future of investments.

The team

The launch team is a group of onboarding and implementation specialists with a deep understanding of Seccl's technology & operations, as well as the broader wealth landscape. They experts at using Seccl's platform to launch new propositions and collaborate with firms to create innovative solutions and provide strategic guidance. Their contribution extends to helping achieve revenue and pipeline goals through delivery of onboarding & migration projects, offering insights on go-to-market plans, and collaborating closely with the wider commercial team to deliver on firm and business objectives.

The role

As a senior manager in our launch team, you'll be owning the onboarding, launch, and migration of enterprise firms across our target segments. If you're excited about helping more people invest, driving change and innovation, and diving head-first into the unknown; if you see setbacks as fuel for growth and development; and if you believe that laser-focussed effort is the key to making things happen - then this is the role for you.

On a typical day you will be...
  • Building trusted relationships with clients, understanding their goals, and guiding them through seamless onboarding and implementation journeys.
  • Driving complex projects from kick-off to roll-out, coordinating across commercial, legal, technical, and operational teams.
  • Solving challenges with creativity and commercial insight, turning problems into opportunities.
  • Acting as the product and API expert, shaping integration strategies and ensuring smooth migrations.
  • Partnering with sales and account management to deliver client workshops, scope projects, and unlock new opportunities.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends in investment and wealth tech, bringing fresh perspectives to every engagement.
  • Sharing knowledge and best practices across teams, mentoring others, and helping scale how we launch and deliver.
This role's for you if you...
  • Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments - you can make sense of uncertainty, prioritise effectively, and keep momentum even when the path isn't fully clear.
  • Are confident managing multiple complex projects and workstreams at once, balancing competing priorities without dropping the ball.
  • Have a strong track record of leading cross-functional teams - bringing people together across Product, Engineering, Ops, and Compliance to deliver results.
  • Are comfortable operating at a senior level, influencing and communicating clearly with a range of stakeholders - from exec sponsors to external partners.
  • Can quickly grasp complex technical systems, processes, and data flows - and use that understanding to diagnose issues, solve problems, and guide clients through challenges.
  • Enjoy tackling knotty operational and technical problems, finding pragmatic, scalable solutions that balance client needs with business priorities.
  • Can distil regulatory and technical complexity into clear, actionable guidance that helps clients and colleagues make confident decisions.
  • Bring a commercial mindset - you understand how your work contributes to the growth and success of both Seccl and our clients, and can support sales and business development conversations with credibility.
  • Lead with curiosity and accountability - you take ownership of blockers, drive progress, and help others do their best work in the process.
  • Love variety - you might be helping to shape an integration one day, supporting a new launch the next, or coaching a team through a major migration the day after.
This role isn't for you if...
  • You rely on a lot of top-down direction. Here, you'll have a lot of freedom and ownership of your role, and you'll be expected to shape your own progression
  • You're not comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Our speed and scalability are what set us apart; you need to be able to act quickly and think on your feet
  • You struggle to follow through on ideas. We value people who do what they say they will. If you care about something, you have the freedom here to make it happen
  • You don't like change. You'll get on great here if you relish the ambiguity of rapid growth and are willing to embrace uncertainty
What's in it for you...
