Job summary

HL Services in South West London is seeking an experienced Landscape Project Manager & Estimator to lead hard landscaping projects from quotation through delivery. You will estimate costs, prepare quotations, manage site operations, and ensure safety, timeliness and budgets are met.

The role requires hands-on landscaping experience, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication with clients, designers, and subcontractors. A UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Landscape Project Manager, Contracts Manager, or Estimator in hard landscaping.
• Strong technical knowledge of hard landscaping construction.
• Hands-on landscaping experience.
• Experience preparing quotations from landscape drawings and specs.
• Ability to set out and manage complex landscaping projects.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project costs.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quotations and estimates from landscape drawings and specifications using Excel.
• Price labour, materials, plant, and subcontractor costs accurately.
• Carry out site surveys where required.
• Manage hard landscaping projects valued between £30,000 and £300,000.
• Set out complex hard landscaping projects.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Liaise confidently with private clients, landscape architects, and designers.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within agreed budgets.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability.
• Order materials and manage deliveries effectively.Attend client and site meetings.
• Resolve technical challenges and on-site issues.
• Maintain excellent client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
