Job summary

LEAD Careers in Glasgow seeks a Senior Landscape Architect/Planner to join their Landscape Team. The role focuses on LVIA/landscape assessments, concept design and delivery of urban design projects from concept to construction.

The candidate should have 4+ years of experience, a Landscape Architecture degree, and proficient use of Autodesk and Adobe Creative Suite. A full UK driving licence and right to work are required. Hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture.
• Experience delivering LVIA and related assessments.
• Proven track record in landscape and urban design projects.
• Experience managing landscape design during construction.
• Strong technical skills in Autodesk and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Fluent English communication; full UK work rights and driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage smaller projects and support delivery of tasks within larger projects.
• Strategic and feasibility/concept studies.
• Landscape and LVIA for linear and site-based projects.
• Townscape and TVIA assessments.
• Preliminary sketches and detailed design including general arrangement drawings.
• Hard and soft construction detailing, schedules and specifications for planning.
• Tender and construction packages, inspections.
• Develop client relationships in public and private sectors.
• Assist with bids for small to complex multi-disciplinary projects.
• Lead and delegate work to junior team members.
• Client liaison.

Role - Senior Landscape Architect/Planner

Location - Glasgow

Salary - £DOE

An exciting new role has come available for a Landscape Planner within a large multidisciplinary consultancy. They have numerous offices across the UK and internationally, this particular role being based out of their office in Glasgow. We are searching for Landscape Planners with at least 4 years of experience under their belt and a diverse track record to join their Landscape Team.

LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT/PLANNER KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• A degree/post graduate degree in Landscape Architecture
• Experience delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments
• Experience in the successful delivery of landscape and urban design projects
• Experience of managing landscape design during the construction phase
• Excellent technical skills and proficiency in Autodesk and Adobe Creative Suite
• Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills
• A full & clean driving licence and full right to work in the UK

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently managing smaller projects and supporting delivery of specific tasks within larger projects
• Strategic and feasibility/concept studies
• Landscape and visual assessment (LVIA) for both linear and site-based project
• Townscape and visual assessment (TVIA)
• Preliminary/sketch and detailed design including general arrangement drawings
• Hard & soft construction detailing, schedules & specification to support planning applications
• Tender and construction packages, construction/post-construction inspections
• Support the continued development of our relationships with existing and new clients in public and private sectors
• Supporting the preparation of bids ranging from small to complex multi-disciplinary projects..
• Managing and delegation of project work to junior members of the team
• Client liaison
