Our Landscape, Masterplanning, Urbanism (LMU) team is looking for a Senior Landscape Architect to join our growing team, which consists of over 70 people offering the full spectrum of Landscape Architecture, Masterplanning, and Urban Design services.

As part of our Environmental team, you'll help improve quality of life. Your work could involve protected species, pollution, surface water and materials management, air quality, or noise, especially in some of the world's busiest and most beautiful locations.

We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. In the face of climate change, urbanization, and biodiversity loss, our projects address large-scale challenges like floods and wildfires.

You will focus on infrastructure-led projects alongside master planning and urban design projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including internal disciplines, high-profile designers, and external partners. You will work on some of the UK's largest, most complex projects, such as:

  • Glasgow Neighbourhoods
  • Westerhill Masterplan
  • Lower Thames Crossing (NSIP)
  • Future High Street Fund projects
  • Northstowe Masterplan / Urban extension
  • Perry Barr Regeneration
  • Rochdale Canal and others (Canal and River Trust)

Our portfolio includes both large-scale and smaller projects, serving national and local clients across private and public sectors. Projects challenge and inspire with diverse ideas and solutions, emphasizing collaboration, sustainability, and solving complex challenges.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience working as a Landscape Architect on infrastructure projects (rail, highways)
  • Experience with large and small-scale masterplans, city centre regeneration, green infrastructure
  • Experience in landscape planning and assessment
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Good hand-drawing and graphic skills
  • Proficiency in Project Wise, AutoCAD, Adobe
  • Driving Licence
  • Desired: Revit, 3D SketchUp, modeling tools
Educational Qualifications:
  • Degree/Diploma in Landscape Architecture or related field
  • Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute
