Job summary

Lanpro is a fast growing multi-disciplinary consultancy delivering environment-led planning and design projects across the UK. We are seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to lead landscape design, prepare technical drawings, and support planning and design stages while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires strong LVIA experience, collaboration with architects and engineers, and a proactive approach to project delivery. Hybrid working and ongoing professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Landscape design experience in a consultancy
• Technical drawing production experience
• Understanding LVIA and evidence-base documents
• Proficient in CAD, Keyscape or planting software and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience across RIBA Work Stages
• Strong design, graphic and presentation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for defined project workstreams and deliver to programmes, budgets and quality standards.
• Prepare landscape designs, technical drawings, plans, planting proposals and planning documentation.
• Contribute to projects from site analysis through planning and detailed design.
• Undertake landscape assessments, site surveys, research and analysis.
• Prepare LVIA, TVIA and supporting documents as required.
• Coordinate landscape information with architects, planners, engineers, ecologists and other consultants.
• Attend site visits, meetings, workshops and consultations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and external consultants.
• Provide guidance to Landscape Architects and Assistants.
• Support project managers with programme, resource and financial management.
• Contribute to fee proposals and tender submissions.
• Ensure work is delivered to deadlines and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Lanpro procedures, quality standards and health and safety requirements.
