Senior Landscape Architect Job in Newcastle Upon Tyne

Join an employee-owned practice that focuses on designing sustainable, forward-thinking landscapes that bring people and places together. The role offers a salary up to £55,000 + EOT Bonus + 25 Days Holidays + Bank holidays.

This practice values collaboration and every team member’s contribution, working on projects ranging from small-scale developments to major national schemes in public spaces, education, and renewable energy sectors.

They are seeking experienced Landscape Architects, particularly those with exceptional design or LVIA skills, or a combination of both.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process on various landscape projects, from master planning to detailed design
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources
  • Prepare design presentations, reports, and technical drawings
  • Conduct site visits and assessments
  • Mentor junior landscape architects
  • Contribute to the growth of the practice

Required Skills & Experience

  • Chartered Landscape Architect with at least 3 years post-CMLI experience
  • Design-focused roles: strong design sensibility, technical skills, proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit
  • LVIA-focused roles: extensive experience in LVIAs, knowledge of legislation and GIS
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
