Qualifications

  • Minimum five years post-Chartership experience.
  • Experience in Landscape & Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA).
  • Mentoring experience with graduate staff.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality outputs in landscape and urban design.
  • Manage projects and foster community consultations.
  • Prepare bids and tenders for various projects.

Senior Landscape Architect
£40,000 - £45,000 | Hybrid | Central Cardiff
Monday - Thursday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
Friday: 9:00am - 4:30pm

Key Skills & Experience Required:

" A minimum of five years post-Chartership experience

" Strong design skills with proven high-quality output in both landscape and urban design

" Proficiency in AutoCAD and graphic design software such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

" Familiarity with GIS packages

" Experience in Landscape & Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA), including robust report writing skills

" Strong project and people management skills

" Landscape assessment and management experience

" Excellent communication skills, with experience in stakeholder and community consultation

" Previous involvement in bid and tender preparation

" Experience mentoring graduates and professional staff

" Expert witness experience (desirable)
