This fast-growing UK planning and design consultancy is known for its strong technical approach, commercial awareness, and high-impact work across the residential and energy sectors. With a clear ambition to double in size over the next 3–5 years, the company offers a dynamic and rewarding environment for driven professionals.

The landscape team works closely with planners, environmental specialists, and urban designers to shape thoughtful, evidence-led development. Their work spans landscape planning, LVIA, and strategic landscape input across some of the UK’s most complex and high-profile projects. With a collaborative culture, flexible working, and a commitment to professional growth, the business provides a platform for landscape architects to take ownership of their careers while contributing to meaningful development outcomes.

About the Role

The Bristol team is expanding and is looking to appoint a Senior Landscape Architect with a focus on landscape planning and LVIA. The role sits within a multidisciplinary environment and will involve working on a wide range of projects, particularly in the residential and renewable energy sectors.

You will contribute to the delivery of robust landscape assessments, assist in shaping planning strategy, and play an active role in managing client relationships. The role offers a high level of autonomy, along with support for continued progression.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and contributing to LVIAs, feasibility appraisals, and site assessments
  • Working closely with planning consultants, ecologists, and urban designers
  • Engaging with clients, reviewing briefs, and managing project timelines
  • Supporting junior team members and contributing to team development
  • Helping to drive best practices across technical delivery and commercial performance

About You

You’ll be a commercially aware and technically strong Landscape Architect who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. You should have experience in landscape planning and LVIA, ideally gained within consultancy.

Key requirements include:

  • A relevant qualification in Landscape Architecture (e.g., MA, MLA, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience delivering LVIAs and landscape inputs for planning
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • A proactive mindset and confidence in dealing with clients and local authorities
  • Chartered status (CMLI) is preferred, but those on the pathway will also be considered

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team in Bristol, offering an excellent salary, strong benefits, and real scope for progression in a growing national business.
