Senior Land Surveyor

About the Role

Join one of the UK’s fastest-growing multi-disciplinary surveying practices, specializing in delivering high-quality surveying services across various sectors including architecture, planning, retail, commercial & facilities management, infrastructure & highways, and civil engineering. Due to continued success and expansion, we are seeking an experienced Senior Land Surveyor based around the East Midlands to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities & Duties

1. Implement and oversee work instructions to ensure high-quality deliverables.
2. Lead and execute Land Surveys and Measured Building Surveys (MBS).
3. Manage post-processing work for accuracy and efficiency.
4. Assist in resolving technical issues and guide junior team members.
5. Maintain and manage survey equipment, ensuring optimal condition.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in land and measured building surveys or equivalent senior role in surveying.
• Proven leadership experience within a surveying team.
• Proficiency with survey instrumentation such as GPS, Total Stations, Leica, and 3D scanners (laser scanning experience is a plus).
• Advanced skills in 2D/3D AutoCAD and survey software.
• Experience in MBS and topographical surveys.
• Background in civils, construction, or surveying preferred.
• Valid UK Driving License.
• Knowledge of Leica Survey Software (LSS) is desirable.
