A leading company in house building seeks a Senior Land Manager to identify and acquire new sites in key areas. The role offers autonomy and requires a strong network in residential development. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in land buying and project management.

I am working with one of the leading names in house building and place-making and they are looking to strengthen the team with a senior land manager.
The role would focus on identifying, negotiating and acquiring new sites in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Northamptonshire areas and working closely with land agents and housing associations to secure new sites. You would report to the Land Director and have full autonomy over projects with the position being a high-profile one in the business.
You will have a portable book of contacts in the residential development agency world and have a demonstrable history. You will have an intimate knowledge of the planning process and know how to project manage planning applications through the planning system.
You will work closely with the internal and external consultants to successfully manage the projects through the development lifecycle.
Ideally, you will currently be working for one of the leading house builders or residential property developers but I am also keen to hear from senior candidates working in development consultancy.
It is essential that you have experience in land buying for large Plc house builders or residential developers and that you have worked in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Northamptonshire
