A leading house builder is seeking a Senior Land Manager to identify and acquire new sites in Kent and South East London. I am working with one of the leading names in house building and place-making, and they are looking to strengthen the team with a senior land manager.
The role focuses on identifying, negotiating, and acquiring new sites in the Kent and South East London area by working closely with land agents and housing associations to secure new sites. You will report to the Land Director and have full autonomy over projects, with the position being high-profile within the business.
You should have a portable book of contacts in the residential development agency world and a demonstrable history. An intimate knowledge of the planning process and experience in project managing planning applications through the system are essential.
You will work closely with internal and external consultants to successfully manage projects through the development lifecycle.
Ideally, you are currently working for a leading house builder or residential property developer, but candidates from development consultancy are also encouraged to apply.
It is essential that you have experience in land buying for large PLC house builders or residential developers and have worked in Kent, Surrey, or South East London.
