Job description

We are looking to recruit a Senior Land Manager to work as part of our Land Team in the South West Region reporting to the Land Director.

As a Senior Land Manager, you will be responsible for the identification, evaluation and negotiation of land and development opportunities in line with budget and forecast requirements. The role will involve working with external bodies such as land owners, agents and solicitors together with the internal Miller team.

The successful candidate will have experience of land acquisition, gained in a house building environment and a strong local market knowledge. In addition, we are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills who can build on their existing network of contacts.

Your key skills will include negotiation, communication, numeracy, report writing, data analysis, IT proficiency (inc MS Excel), project management and presentation skills. Ideally you will have a degree in a planning/property related discipline or will be qualified by relevant experience.

A good standard of written English is essential with the ability to meet tight deadlines. The role involves travel which requires a full driving licence.
