Are you looking for a lab-based role where you will have the opportunity to work on multiple pre-clinical studies with different clients?

Do you have experience working in Terrestrial Ecotoxicology?

Here at Labcorp, we are looking for a Senior Laboratory Scientist to join our Ecotoxicology team at our site in Shardlow, Derbyshire.

In this role, you will support the Ecotoxicology department in conducting environmental studies for our clients. The role is varied and hands-on, offering the chance to make a real difference in environmental research.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting and performing studies according to study plan protocols using appropriate instrumentation and methods
  • Maintaining study documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines and GLP
  • Participating in study meetings and providing input
  • Training and supervising less experienced staff, developing training plans
  • Writing, reviewing, and revising SOPs related to your work area
  • Data collation and accurate recording
  • Participating in QC review of routine data
  • Maintaining laboratory and work area

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in a CRO environment and GLP compliance
  • Experience in Terrestrial Ecotoxicology

  • Home Office licence PIL A/B is advantageous
