Job description

Boeing is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Labor Relations Manager to be based in Europe.

This role offers a great mix of strategy and "hands-on" work, for a passionate person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in relationship building and facilitation skills.

This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and will not require the selected candidate to relocate. It can be based in France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, or the United Kingdom.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Manage employees and mid-level managers by designing, implementing, and administering employee relations processes, including Employee Opinion Surveys, Employee Engagement and Work Environment Assessments, and Collective Bargaining.
  2. Provide senior leadership with recommendations, advice, and counsel on Employee Relations policies, strategies, and processes.
  3. Develop and execute integrated organizational plans, policies, and procedures, guiding the development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives.
  4. Acquire resources for organizational activities, manage suppliers, and lead process improvements.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
  6. Oversee and approve technical approaches, products, and processes.
  7. Manage, develop, and motivate employees and mid-level managers.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in labor relations or related HR areas within a large, complex organization.

Work Authorization:

This role is for a locally hired position in France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, or the United Kingdom. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work immediately in the respective country. Boeing will not sponsor visas or immigration.
