Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust invites applications for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Soft Tissue Knee. FRCS and GMC registration are required; CCT in trauma and orthopaedics is preferred. The role aims to develop independent consultant-level practice through high-volume knee training.

Placement is a fixed-term 6–12 month post starting around Sep 2026. Opportunity to work with Mr I.P. Pengas and other knee surgeons, with teaching, audit and research encouraged.

Qualifications

• FRCS required and GMC licence to practise.
• CCT in trauma and orthopaedics preferred.
• Strong interest in soft tissue knee surgery and high-volume training.
• Willingness to engage in teaching, audit and research.

Responsabilités

• Participate in supervised/independent knee surgeries and clinics.
• Weekly knee clinics including elective & acute knee clinics, radiology MDT and knee trauma clinics.
• Contribute to teaching, audits and research with opportunities for presentations.
• Support knee group and collaborate with physiotherapist and orthotics.
