Job summary

Butlin's is seeking a Senior Kitchen Manager / Head Chef for their Minehead location. About The Role

  1. We're seeking a Senior Kitchen Manager / Head Chef to join the Butlin's Team in Minehead.
  2. Lead and develop our team in the Restaurants Department, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.
  3. Ensure Junior Kitchen Managers lead each shift effectively, maintain compliance with food safety and Health & Safety policies, and manage food orders and HACCP processes.
  4. Collaborate with the Food Development Team to address operational challenges and foster a motivated culinary team with high ethical standards.
  5. Implement cost control procedures, monitor waste, and work collaboratively with kitchen and front of house teams for smooth operations.

About You

  1. Experience managing a kitchen operation at a similar level, with a proven track record of team development in a commercial culinary environment.
  2. Hardworking, reliable, and proactive in seeking improvements to consistently meet brand standards.
  3. Energetic, enthusiastic, and fun-loving, with a clear understanding of how their role enhances guest experience.
  4. Level 3 Food Safety qualification and confident in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  5. Passionate about creating a positive team atmosphere and ensuring guests have a memorable experience.
