Data Intellect, a specialist data and technology consultancy, is seeking a Senior kdb+ Engineer to lead high-performance, time-series solutions for financial clients. You will own delivery on client projects and design scalable kdb+ architectures.

Hybrid and globally oriented, the role offers collaboration with quants, traders and analysts, mentoring junior engineers, and ongoing work with kdb+, q, and adjacent technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on kdb+ development and time-series expertise.
• Experience designing and scaling kdb+ architectures in production.
• Strong Unix/Linux and scripting background.
• Proven technical leadership and decision-making in fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery on client projects and set quality standards.
• Design and implement robust kdb+ architectures for large-scale datasets.
• Collaborate with quants, traders, and analysts to translate needs into efficient code.
• Mentor and guide junior to mid-level developers to foster excellence.
• Own the full development lifecycle for client applications and support.
