Job summary

Iris Software Inc. is seeking a data solutions professional in London to develop and maintain KDB+/q-based systems for CCAR and analytics. You will work with large financial datasets, transform data, and ensure robust data quality in a hybrid London setting.

Responsibilities include building q scripts, performing data onboarding, and collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver efficient analytics and data distribution across applications. Linux/Unix experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Location: London Financial District area

Hybrid: 3 days onsite/2days WFH

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain KDB+/q-based data solutions supporting CCAR, financial analytics, and enterprise data requirements.

Build q scripts, queries, and data processes for loading, transforming, querying, and distributing large datasets.

Perform data onboarding, validation, cleansing, transformation, and quality checks within the KDB+ environment.

Work closely with business and technical users to understand data requirements and deliver efficient analytical solutions.

Support reporting, analytics, and downstream data distribution, including end-to-end data flows and integration with applications.

Strong experience with KDB+, q programming, SQL, and data analysis, with exposure to Python or Java preferred.

Work with large-scale time-series and financial data in Linux/Unix environments, with financial services or market data experience preferred.
