Job summary

Dow Jones - Energy seeks a Principal Journalist to cover price reporting, market analysis, and the LPG & Naphtha Report for OPIS. You will lead content creation, methodology maintenance, business development, and editorial operations, while promoting OPIS benchmarks to the wider market.

Reporting to the Editorial Director for Europe, you will ensure accurate and timely production of price assessments in line with IOSCO principles, and oversee market data, news, and reports for daily publication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of price reporting experience in energy/fuel sectors or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of LPG product and shipping market dynamics and price reporting.
• Proven track record in business development and market networking.
• Demonstrated capability in content production and project management.

Responsibilities

• Execute price assessments and ensure daily publications meet standards and IOSCO principles.
• Drive pricing opportunities and product development by liaising with product/IT and presenting at industry events.
• Lead creation of news coverage, analytical content, webinars and whitepapers to support daily reports.
