Job summary

OPIS, a Dow Jones company, seeks a Principal Journalist in London to cover price reporting, market analysis, and the LPG product and shipping market for the Global LPG & Naphtha Report. You will lead content creation, methodology maintenance, business development, and editorial operations to ensure timely publications.

You will report to the Editorial Director for Europe and ensure price assessments conform to IOSCO principles while expanding market coverage and data services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of price reporting experience in energy, fuel, shipping, or a related sector.
• Strong networker with a track record in business development and market sourcing.
• Proven ability to lead content creation, reporting, and editorial workflows.
• Excellent Excel and data manipulation skills; familiarity with BI tools desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute price assessments and ensure daily price publications meet IOSCO principles and internal standards.
• Drive business and product development by sourcing price benchmarks and coordinating with product/IT teams.
• Lead content creation for daily reports, webinars, and whitepapers to ensure timely market coverage.
