High growth and contemporary fashion brand is seeking an experienced Senior Designer to take lead in designing highly trend-led and commercial ranges for their jerseywear department.

You will be:

  1. Attending, presenting & contributing, with confidence at design direction meetings, bringing newness and creative ideas to the team.
  2. Creating design packs whilst working closely with the production and development departments.
  3. Having garment construction, fit & fabric knowledge.
  4. Researching key women's jersey trends and looks for the upcoming season.
  5. Gaining commercial awareness & market knowledge.
  6. Developing new jerseywear ranges that align with the brand identity and market trends.
  7. Ensuring effective communication and collaboration with the wider team.
  8. Mentoring junior members.

Requirements:

  1. High taste level with extensive womenswear trend knowledge and portfolio.
  2. Confident presentation skills.
  3. Highly creative in womenswear design with a focus on ladies jerseywear.
  4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  5. Experience managing a team.
  6. In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and/or other design software.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with others.

This role is based in-house on a full-time basis and would require full right to work in the UK. Hybrid, remote, or freelance applications are not appropriate for this role and will not be considered.

Candidates will need to be based in the UK and within commutable distance to the head office.
