Job summary

Adanola Group in Manchester is seeking a Senior Buyer to own our jersey-based categories and shape the strategy that drives them. This is a senior, high-accountability role: you'll set the direction for your department's buying strategy, build a product range that's commercially sharp and customer-centric, and bring seniority to influence decisions at the highest level.

You’ll have advanced technical expertise in jersey categories and a strong track record of hands-on buying at a senior level,

Qualifications

• Significant buying experience in fashion or apparel.
• Proven senior/lead buying experience.
• Strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Excellent negotiation and financial acumen.
• Highly analytical with trend knowledge and market awareness.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of jersey category product strategy and inform the company’s top-line strategy.
• Lead partnership with Design and Merchandising to deliver a strategic, profitable jersey range.
• Bring market and competitor insights to identify opportunities ahead of the market.
• Trade in-season performance with data-driven calls and own commercial outcomes.
• Negotiate budgets, forecasts, and frameworks with Heads of Product and senior stakeholders.
• Represent Adanola on buying trips and vendor engagements at a senior level.
